Rawalpindi brothers' killing: Arrested police officials record statements

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – The detained police personnel Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Ashraf, constable Zameer and Umair who shot dead two brothers in Rawalpindi on Sunday when they did not stop at a security check-post have recorded their statements today (Monday). As per details, the police officials told the investigation team they had signaled the two boys to stop at check post, but they failed to stop upon which, officials opened fire at the two, killing them. Police have also recovered the arms used in firing whereas the officers would be presented before the court today for remand. Meanwhile, the victims’ family has alleged that people are threatening them to take back the case. Earlier on Sunday, Rawalpindi police killed two youngsters for not stopping at a police check point at Sixth Road area of Rawalpindi. The individuals were identified as Shakeel and Zeeshan.
