Rawalpindi, Islamabad receive heavy rain with intervals; Chenab River in low-level flood at Head Qadirabad
RAWALPINDI (92 News) – The twin cities and adjoining areas received a heavy rain with intervals on Saturday, increasing the threat of flood in nullahs.
Meanwhile, heavy rain was reported in Mandi Bahauddin.
A low-level flood is being reported in the Chenab River at Head Qadirabad.
After the rains, the water flow has increased in rivers.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has ordered to pump out rainwater immediately from low-lying areas in Rawalpindi.
He asked the authorities concerned to use all resources for disposing of water.
