Rawalpindi Metro contract: NAB summons Shehbaz Sharif on August 24

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Difficulties of Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif increased as the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) summoned him on August 24.

He has been directed to appear before the NAB on Tuesday. He faces the charge of giving the contract of the Rawalpindi Metro to Mustafa Kamal, brother of PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal, in violation of the rules.

Shehbaz Sharif has been directed to bring the details of the contract with him.

Mustafa Kamal has been given the contract of decoration and landscaping of the Metro project. According to the working paper, he was given the contract with the approval of Shehbaz Sharif.
