Raza Rabbani expresses anger over absence of ministers in Senate

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Senate chairman Mian Raza Rabbani has on Friday expressed anger over the absence of federal ministers, state minister and advisers in the upper house of the parliament. His remarks came as the energy, housing and religious affairs ministers were absent from Upper House of the Parliament. Expressing resentment over the absence of ministers, he asked what the minister for energy was doing in Karachi. The Senate chairman went on to say that there was any army of ministers, state ministers and advisers but none of them shows up in the house, adding that General (r) Abdul Qadir Baloch is responding in place of minister for religious affairs. The Senate chairman also issued warnings that he will take stern action according to the Constitution on concealing information from the parliament.
