Raza Rabbani visits Abdul Sattar Edhi, Amjad Sabri's residence

KARACHI (92 News) – Acting President Mian Raza Rabbani has on Sunday visited Abdul Sattar Edhi at his residence and inquired about his health. Talking to media, he said that Abdul Sattar Edhi is an asset of the country and commemorative stamps of his name will be released. He also prayed for his health. On the occasion, Faisal Edhi said that Abdul Sattar Edhi will undergo an operation in SIUT on Monday (tomorrow) and appealed to the nation for his health. The acting president further visited the residence of slain sufi singer Amjad Sabri and condoled his assassination with his family. On the occasion, he said that the lifestyle of the state cannot be changed through terrorism. Rabbani said that the whole nation is mourning the martyrdom of the Qawal, adding that Pakistani nation is not afraid of terrorists.
