Ready to fight even if India gets 500 Rafale jets: DG ISPR

RAWALPINDI (92 News) - While responding to Indian threat, nter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar on Thursday has said that Pakistan ready to fight even if India gets 500 Rafale jets. Addressing a news conference, DG ISPR's responded bluntly and said that Pakistan Army is always organized and vigilant to respond to the enemy. "We are ready to fight even India may buy 500 Rafale fighter jets. India is involved in terrorism inside Pakistan, adding, "We exposed India's state terrorism before the world."
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are historic friendly relations
Speaking over the Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relationship, the DG ISPR termed it historic and said they have strong and brotherly relations between the two countries and would remain forever. Pakistan and its people are proud of the country’s historic relations with Saudi Arabia, the ISPR DG said while responding to a question about the COAS’s visit to the Kingdom. "The hearts of the Pakistani people beat with the Saudi people. No one can deny the main role and importance of Saudi Arabia in the Muslim Ummah," he added. “Nobody can doubt the centrality of Saudi Arabia to the Muslim world,” he remarked. The COAS visit was planned already. No need to read too much into it.
Pakistan only wants peace in Afghanistan
On relations with Afghanistan, Major General Babar Iftikhar remarked that Pakistan has been working towards ensure peace in Afghanistan. “We feel that we need to implement a gradual, time bound and adequately resourced refugee return programme as early as possible.” "It is only Pakistan if anyone wants peace in Afghanistan after Afghanis. Peace in Afghanistan means peace in Pakistan." Relations with India
The ISPR director general even remarked that India has increased its defence budget and is spending more on acquiring weapons. To a question, the DG ISPR said, “If India acquires more jets than it just shows their insecurities. We don’t care if they get 500 or five more jets. We are absolutely ready to take on our enemies even though we are not spending on defence as much as them.” He remarked that wars aren’t won with weapons but with nation’s unity. India has been taking hegemonic steps and spreading the fire of communal hatred. This along with their military spending has made their expansionist policies quite clear to everyone.
Pays tribute to Kashmiris on Independence Day
Major General Babar Iftikhar congratulated the nation on the 73rd independence day of the country  He said that Indian occupied Kashmir is facing a lockdown from the past one year and there is no cruelty left that the Kashmiris have not suffered at the hands of the Indian forces. He said there is no form of oppression that the Kashmiris are not subjected to. "The sanctity of women and children is being violated. The youth are being martyred in the name of counter-terrorism and buried at unknown locations. The use of pellet guns against the innocent Kashmiris has become commonplace. The Kashmiri leadership in the occupied territory has been imprisoned for a year," the ISPR chief said, highlighting the dire situation in the occupied region.
India, with its state sponsorism, conducting genocide in IoK
Briefing the nation on ongoing atrocities by Indian troops in Indian Occupied Kashmir and on the Line of Control (LoC), the DG ISPR said that the Indian forces have committed ceasefire violations at Line of Control, targeting innocent civilians in the cross border shelling. He said that in occupied Kashmir, "the worst siege in human history has been going on for a year". "India, with its state sponsorism, is conducting a genocide in occupied Kashmir and violating human rights in the worst possible manner." “Their political leadership is behind the bar for past one year, pellet guns are being used against the peaceful protestors along with extrajudicial killings of the youngsters,” he shared the injustices faced by the Kashmiris. "India, under a well thought out plan, is changing the demography there and seeking to expel Muslims from the region," he continued.
Kashmiri mothers should be asked about value of freedom
"Freedom is one of God's greatest blessings. For this freedom we have, I pay tribute to the people who participated in the Pakistan movement, and its leaders, particularly Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam's vision," said the ISPR DG. Lt Gen Babar Iftikhar said that the Kashmiri mothers should be asked about the value of freedom. "Ask about the importance of freedom from the mother of an Occupied Kashmiris who bury their young sons wrapped in the Pakistani flag. Under a pre-planned, thought-out plan, India by changing the demography of the region is trying to evict the Muslims living there," he said.
Pakistan raises Kashmir issue at all Int'l forums
While paying tribute to their struggle for independence, Major General Babar Iftikhar said that Pakistan has raised the issue at all international forums. “Even the UN Secretary-General has termed it necessary to resolve Kashmir issue for the peace in South Asia,” he said. He said that for the Security Council to take up the issue thrice in the past year is proof of the fact that the issue is of utmost importance to the international community. The ISPR chief expressed confidence that the people of Kashmir will secure their right to self-determination soon.
