Ready to talk to PM Shehbaz Sharif, Imran Khan for country: President Arif Alvi

LAHORE (92 News) - President Dr Arif Alvi has said that he is ready to talk to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and PTI chairman Imran Khan for the country.

He was talking to senior journalists on Friday.

President Arif Alvi said that the PTI had been caught for keeping the record of foreign funding case. "The conduct of the elections is a good solution. There is need to make politicians sit together. Gulf is increasing among politicians," he added.

He said that the army is a guarantee of the national security and it should not be made controversial. "It was achievement of the Pak Army to win the war against terrorism and we should respect it," he added.

The President said that all parties should develop consensus on positive and key matters. "The electronic voting machine was my project and all were agreed on it."

About a question about relations with Russia, Arif Alvi said that this effort was being made for the last 10 years.
