ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chief Election Commissioner Sardar Raza Khan has said that the reconduct of local bodies elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is not child’s play. The four-member bench headed by CEC Sardar Raza Khan heard the case with regard to rigging in the local bodies elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In his remarks, CEC Sardar Raza Khan said that the KPK police did not pay attention to law and order. “Had the KPK police shut their eyes during the LB polls?” he questioned. He said that his job was in the hand of Allah Almighty, not in the hand any Khattak, Bangash or Syed. “We will decide on re-election,” he said. Meanwhile, the Election Commission has summoned all the returning officers and adjourned the hearing till tomorrow. The Awami National Party (ANP) presented the rigging proofs in the constituency of Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak. Pervaiz Khattak’s brother Liaquat Khattak, ANP Senator Zahid Khan and Shahi Syed appeared before the commission.
