Record 4,960 coronavirus cases reported during 24 hours, tally soar to 98,943

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as record 4,960 new coronavirus cases have been reported during the last 24 hours, increasing tally to 98,943. Meanwhile, 67 deaths have been reported during the last 24 hours and as a result, the death toll has increased to 2002. According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), there are 37,090 cases in Punjab, 36,364 in Sindh, 13,000 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 6,221 in Balochistan. Moreover, the number of cases in Islamabad is 4,979, 927 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 361 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. In total, 33,465 people have recovered. As many as 23,100 tests were conducted during the last 24 hours. As a result, total tests conducted so far are 683,608.
