Recovery of liquor is personal matter, says Sharjeel

KARACHI (92 News) – Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) leader and MPA Sharjeel Memon on Saturday said that the recovery of alcohol bottles were his personal matter not related to the party. To a question pertaining to the discovery of alcohol bottles from his hospital room, the former information minister replied that the case has been registered against him and so don't want to give any comment in front of media. “Will not say anything till the inquiry is completed,” he added. To another question, Sharjeel said that recovery of bottle is his personal matter and not the party’s. The former minister was presented before an accountability court in Karachi in a corruption case. However, the hearing of the case was adjourned till September 26 owing to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor's absence.
