Religious scholar Allama Abbas Kumaili passes away

KARACHI (92 News) – Renowned religious scholar Allama Abbas Kumaili passed away on Saturday after a prolonged illness. According to the reports, his family members confirmed death news of the noted religious leader. It was reported that the chief of Jafaira Alliance was admitted in a private hospital near Soldier Bazar (Karachi) from last four months. The deceased was an elected Senator for the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM). Kumaili was 70 years old. He was a diabetic patient and suffered cardiac issues. Back in 2014, Kumaili lost his son, 42-year-old Ali Akbar Kumaili, in a target killing incident in Karachi.
