Remote-controlled blast kills one in Swat

SWAT (92 News) – A man was killed and two others injured in an explosion in Swat’s Malam Jabba on Monday. As per details, the miscreants targeted the vehicle of Peace Committee member Ahmad Zaib’s father through a remote-controlled bomb in Malam Jabba area of Swat. The Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was planted on roadside and detonated when the police vehicle passed by, killing Ahmad Zaib’s father on the spot and wounding two others. Security forces and police reached the spot after the blast. The injured were rushed to nearby hospital for treatment. Security forces have launched a search operation in the area after the blast.
