Remove from your mind idea of giving date in SC cases now, remarks CJP Qazi Faez Isa
ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa on Monday remarked that now the people should remove from minds the idea of giving dates in the Supreme Court cases.
Hearing a land dispute case, he observed that notices will be issued to the parties on the first hearing and the verdict would be announced after arguments on the next date. "This is the message for all that now cases will not be adjourned now," he remarked.
The CJP remarked that it was practice in the SC that the case was adjourned due to lack of documents. "In the SC, the case carries all documents," he observed.
He also reprimanded the lawyer and rejected his plea to adjourn the case. CJP Qazi Faez Isa was heading a three-member bench in the case.
