Renowned actress Durdana Butt passes away in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – Renowned actress Durdana Butt alias Dodi passed away after a protracted illness on Thursday. She was 83.

She was suffering from cancer and she had tested positive for coronavirus a few days back.

Durdana Butt was born in Lahore on May 9, 1938. She started her acting career in the early 70s.

She rose to prominence after her role in Tanhaiyaan. Her other famous dramas include Aangan Terha and Ruswai. She also performed in movies like Balu Mahi, Parey Hut Love, Ishq Positive and Dil Diyan Gallan.
