Renowned analyst and teacher Prof Dr Medhi Hassan passes away

LAHORE (92 News) – Renowned analyst and teacher Prof Dr Medhi Hassan passed away on Wednesday. He was 85.

He has also served as head of the Journalism Department at Punjab University. He was awarded the Sitara-e-Imtiaz in 2012.

President Dr Arif Alvi and Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar have expressed grief and sorrow over the death of Prof Mehdi Hassan.

They prayed tribute to educational and journalistic services of Prof Mehdi Hassan.

Meanwhile, PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari expressed grief over the death of Prof Mehdi Hassan. He said that Dr Mehdi Hassan was an effective voice of democracy and human rights. He shared sympathies with the bereaved family.
