ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at PM Office on Monday. Both discussed the matters pertaining to controlling coronavirus. Prime Minister Imran Khan requested Maulana Tariq Jamil to pray for elimination of coronavirus. He also thanked Ulema for extending cooperation for combating coronavirus. The prime minister requested Maulana Tariq Jamil to restrict religious activities. On PM’s request, Maulana Tariq Jamil will hold meetings with Ulema to play their role in combating coronavirus. Meanahile, the number of coronavirus patients have increased to 76 in Sindh, raising the tall to 94. In a tweet on Monday, Sindh Government Spokesman Murtaza Wahab said: “So far 50 people who had arrived in Sukkur from Taftaan have tested positive for coronavirus – 25 at Karachi and one at Hyderabad. So the total patients have reached 76 in Sindh. Out of these 76 patients, two have recovered and the remaining 74 are being kept in isolation.” https://twitter.com/murtazawahab1/status/1239423769560702977?s=20 On Sunday, the tally in country had gone to by 47, out of which 34 were from Sindh. Three patients returned from Saudi Arabia a few days ago and tested positive for the virus in Karachi on Sunday. The fourth patient has no recent travel history. Of the 21 cases in Sindh, two have recovered and been discharged and 19 are under treatment.
