Renowned TV artiste Ali Ejaz passes away at 77

LAHORE (92 News)– Renowned film, TV and stage actor Ali Ejaz passed away on Tuesday. He was 77. He was shifted to hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest where he died. Ali Ijaz started his film career in 1967 and performed in 128 films. He also performed in Khawaja and Son (1985), a popular Pakistani television comedy drama series, and Heer Ranjha (1972). In 2015, he launched a social welfare project near Sialkot under his non-government organization (NGO), Ali Ejaz Foundation. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has expressed grief and sorrow over the death of Ali Ejaz. Paying tribute to Ali Ejaz, he said that his death had closed a glorious chapter of entertainment.
