Repatriation of stranded Pakistanis: PIA plane leaves for San’a, Navy ship for Al-Hudaida
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Another Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane left for the Yemeni city of San’a today (Sunday) to bring back stranded Pakistanis in the conflict-ridden state. A Pakistan Navy ship also left for Al-Hudaida to bring the troubled Pakistanis back.
Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Tasneem in a statement said that 12 stranded Pakistanis have been shifted to Muscat from Yemen, from where they will be airlifted.
Earlier on Saturday, a Pakistan Navy ship carrying 146 Pakistanis and 40 other nationals left the Yemeni port city of Al-Shihr. It is expected to reach Karachi by April 7. A total of 700 Pakistanis have been repatriated from Yemen, as per FO spokesperson.
