ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Special Adviser to the PM on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan has termed a report on Billion Tree Tsunami project a political conspiracy. Reacting to the report on the project, she said that the opponents made the excuse of trees when they had nothing to do politics. “Those inspecting the project were worst enemies of Prime Minister Imran Khan,” she said. The special adviser said that those counting the trees should return the looted money instead. She said that Nawaz Sharif and his team was the biggest liar. “They said that they do not want to go to London. Later, they submitted an application in court. Poepel now know that he is not a heart patient, but suffering from pain of the power,” he said. Firdous Ashiq Awan questioned Marriyum Aurangzeb how Mian Sahib’s heartache was removed after getting the bail.
Firdous Ashiq Awan hints at reconciliation with opposition
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan has hinted at bringing about reconciliation with the opposition, saying the role of the opposition is very important in the democratic culture. Talking to the media after a meeting of the parliamentary party, she said that the government will cooperate with the opposition to resolve the problems of the country. She said that Asad Umar would soon rejoin the cabinet. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan promised the media to bring it out of problems for bringing the government out of problems. “The media has always been my strength. I will talk about the problems of journalists,” she said. She said that the economic team had a meeting with the prime minister who had given some targets to the finance adviser. “A strategy has been discussed to come up to the expectations of 220 million people of the country,” she said. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the prime minister would inaugurate a housing project in Quetta. “Umar Ayub is being given the additional charge of the Petroleum Ministry,” she said. The special assistant said that there would be no compromise on the problems of the masses. “Problems will emerge if government’s silence is considered weakness,” she said. She said that Fawad Ch could not attend the meeting because he was in Lahore.
