Rescue operation underway as wedding hall collapses in AJK’s Chakswari area

MIRPUR (92 News) – Many Casualties are feared after an under construction wedding hall building collapsed in Azad Jammu and Kashmir's Mirpur area of Chakswari on Friday. According to the reports, tt was feared that 30 to 50 labourers were working at the site under the debris. Rescue teams have reached the hall and rescue efforts are currently under way. Rescue operation is underway to help people out from under the rubble. Mirpur DHQ is located at a drive of 30 to 35 minutes from the collapse site. The hospital has not received any reports of injuries so far. So far, rescue officials said that six people have been rescued from the rubble and efforts are being made to recover more from the debris, while more people could be buried under the rubble.
