Residents protest power outage in Multan

MULTAN (92 News) – Enraged locals have on Friday staged a protest in Multan against prolonged and unannounced load-shedding in the city. The protesters blocked main road by burning tyres and chanted slogans against the government and Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) administration against prolonged and unannounced load-shedding. The protesters demanded early solution to the problem and threatened that they would besiege the MEPCO office. The agitated protesters had also quarreled with the passer-bys.
