Resignations of 35 MNAs accepted to save PM from vote of confidence: Qureshi

LAHORE (92 News) - PTI vice-chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that the resignations of 35 MNAs have been accepted to save Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif from the vote of confidence.

Talking to the media on Tuesday, he said that the speaker had stated that he would accept the resignations after calling the MNAs.

"On what criteria were the resignations of certain people accepted? If the speaker wants to accept the resignations, he should accept the resignations with 125 other ones," he added.

Queshi questioned the ECP whether the MNAs had demanded acceptance of their resignations after appearing in person. "The ECP is losing its partial standard gradually," he added.
