Resolution of Kashmir issue mandatory for peace: President Dr Arif Alvi

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – President Dr Arif Alvi has said that resolution of the Kashmir dispute is mandatory for peace. Addressing a conference on ‘Media and Conflict’ in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said that India accuses Pakistan of each incident happening in its territory. “The prime minister had invited India to talks. Pakistan wants peace. We repeatedly say that we want peace,” he maintained. The President said that the Indian media is fomenting provocation which can be dangerous. “The media plays an important role either to resolve or foment a dispute. There is no importance of a message if the messenger is not reliable,” he said. He said that children can be saved from difficulties by imparting them better education. “Each human being has different thought and ideas. Life is the process of continuous learning,” he opined. President Dr Arif Alvi said that they had no bad intention against any other country. “But we know to defend our motherland from any kind of misadventure. The valiant Pakistani armed forces combated and defeated the scourge of terrorism in a befitting manner.” He said that the armed forces have a wide range experience to deal with the menace of terrorism and the entire world can learn from them to cope with this menace.
