Road blockades claim Army officer’s life

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – A Pakistan Army officer was martyred and another was critically injured in an accident on the Motorway while they were travelling from Rawalpindi to Nowshera. Lieutenant Colonel Shahid embraced shahadat (martyrdom) while Major Jalal got seriously injured on the motorway. According to ISPR, the incident took place when the two officers got down from their vehicles to find an alternate route for their convoy as the main routes were blocked with containers. The army convoy was going to Nowshera from Rawalpindi.
