Road mishap leaves 12 dead in Muzaffarabad

MUZAFFARABAD (92 News) – At least 12 people including women and children were killed and several others injured when a jeep fell into a deep ravine near Khilana in Chakothi, Muzaffarabad on Wednesday. As per details, the ill-fated incident took place near Khilana in Chakothi, Muzaffarabad when a jeep fell in a ravine after it went out of control due to bad conditions of road, killing nine people on the spot and wounding several others. Soon after the incident, police and rescue staff reached the spot. The bodies and injured people were shifted to nearby hospitals. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in road accident in Muzaffarabad.
