Road rage confrontation leads to shooting in Peshawar

PESHAWAR (92 News) – A brawl erupted in the provincial capital when a motorcyclist overtook a car with a fake government number plate, in return the people sitting in the car opened firing. As per details, a motorcyclist overtook a car with a fake government number plate but the passengers riding the car stopped him. They engaged in an argument after which the car’s riders threatened the motorcyclist and opened fire on motorcyclist’s but the motorcyclist luckily survived. The area residents intervened and helped cool down the atmosphere, while the perpetrators managed to escape from the spot. Talking to 92 News, the victim namely Rahat said that he do not trust the police and demanded justice from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan and IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. PTI leader Shaukat Yousafzai said that the investigation will be carried out into the incident and action will be taken against the perpetrators.
