Roadside blast wounds three in Peshawar

PESHAWAR (92 News) – At least people were injured when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was detonated in Peshawar’s Inqilab Road area in Chamkani police station precincts on Sunday.

As per details, the blast occurred near the vehicle of Madarassa Rozatul Atfal’s administrator Qari Salahuddin, resultantly injuring at least three people including a pedestrian.

The three injured were shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital, while the blast partially damaged the car. Panic gripped the surrounding areas.

According to Bomb Disposal Squad, around 3kg of explosive was used in the blast, while police have gathered evidence from the spot.
