Roof collapse claims lives of four brothers in Shahkot

SHAHKOT (92 News) – At least four persons of a family including were killed and two others injured when the roof of a house collapsed after intermittent rain lashed the Shahkot area on Tuesday. As per details, the ill-fated incident took place in Shahkot area when the roof of the house caved in following incessant rainfall and buried the family members under the debris. After being informed, rescue officials reached the spot and retrieved the bodies of four brothers from the rubble. A woman and her daughter were also pulled out from the debris in injured condition. The bodies and injured people were shifted to local hospital. The deceased were identified as Awais, 18, Waleed, 12, Noor, 10, and Sharjeel, 5.
