Roof collapse kills 5 in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) – Five people were killed and several others injured when the roof of a house collapsed in Delhi Gate area of the provincial capital on Sunday. As per details, the roof of a house caved in when a wedding function was underway, killing a woman, two girls Aqsa, 12, and Mahnoor, 4. After being informed, rescue staff reached the spot and rushed the injured and dead nearby hospital for medical assistance. On the other hand, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of lives in the incident. He sought a report from the local administration and directed that best treatment facilities may be provided to the injured.
