Roof collapse kills four in Arifwala

ARIFWALA (92 News) – At least four members of a family killed and three others were injured when the roof of their house collapsed in Arifwala on Friday morning. According to the reports, roof of a dilapidated house collapsed in village 71-EB near Arifwala, a tehsil of Pakpattan District in the Punjab province due to recent rains, burying seven persons of the same family under the debris. The deceased were identified as 40-years-old Sharifan Bibi, 17-years-old Shahzad, 14-years-old Jawad and 8-years-old Farha. Rescue teams reached the spot and retrieved dead bodies from the rubble while two children were rescued in injured condition. The dead and injured were shifted to hospital. On the other hand, six injured as rain incidents happened in Tibba Sultan.
