Roof collapse kills four, injures six in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) – At least four people of a family were killed and six other injured when the roof of their house caved in in provincial capital’s Azam Garden area after heavy rainfall in different area of the city on Tuesday. The incident occurred in Azam Garden area of Multan Road when the roof of a house made up of mud collapsed during heavy rainfall, killing four people namely Reshama Bibi, Manzooran Bibi, Hajra and Bilal on the spot and injuring six others. After being informed, the Rescue staff reached the spot and recovered six injured, namely Ghulam Fatima, Maryam, Zainab, Ahmad, Shabnam and Hafsa from the rubble and rushed them to hospital for medical treatment. The condition of all injured people in the hospital is said to be out of danger.
