GILGIT (92 News) – Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday has said that roti is being sold for Rs10 and naan for Rs15 with taunting ‘this is Naya Pakistan’. Speaking at a political gathering, Bilawal mentioned that he rejected the ‘Naya Pakistan’. “Young people are not getting jobs and the country is heading towards an economic crisis. In Naya Pakistan our lives and property are not safe,” he said. Lashing out the policies of the government, the PPP chairman criticized that the PTI government promised five million houses to the people but are actually snatching the roofs from above people’s heads by calling them encroachments. Bilawal said that the people wanting to build a Naya Pakistan have shaken the country’s foundations. He said that the country has not any foreign and interior policy, subsequently; the country is passing through sensitive era and towards an economic crisis. The PPP head said that the slogan raiser of change also cut the Rs4 billion from the budget of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB). “100 u-turns have been taken before completion of first 100 days of the incumbent government tenure. Those who claimed to prefer suicide over taking loans are distributing sweets on same,” Bilawal criticized. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari termed that the PPP government had given a big gift like Karaokoram Highway for GB’s people. “I will foster the relationship Zulfikar Ali Bhutto created with the people of Gilgit-Baltistan,” he vowed, adding that his struggle is the struggle of the people. Bilawal said the PPP has had a relationship with Gilgit for three generations.
