Rs10 million in reward announced for Owais Shah’s recovery

KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh government has on Thursday announced a reward of Rs 10 million giving information about the kidnappers who are involved in the kidnapping of Owais Ali Shah, son of Sindh High Court Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah. Talking to media in Karachi on Thursday, “I am announcing Rs 10 million reward for the people who give information of the place where Awais Shah has been kept or give clues for his recovery or arrest of the culprits”. The Sindh CM has also suspended four police officials following the kidnapping of Sindh High Court Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah’s son and targeted killing of renowned Qawal Amjad Farid Sabri. The law enforcement agencies (LEA) have failed to recover Owais Ali Shah, son of Sindh High Court (SHC) Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah even after three days who was abducted on Monday afternoon. Previously, Sindh Rangers had announced a reward of Rs2.5 million for information about kidnapped son of SHC Chief Justice. Police and Rangers had carried out several raids in different areas of the city and detained several suspects. Awais Ali Shah, the son of Sindh High Court Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah, was abducted outside a supermarket in the city on Monday, police said on Tuesday. Kidnapping by criminal gangs and outlawed fighters is common in Pakistan. Police did not say why they suspected that Shah had been abducted. Investigators say no clues found yet and no one has claimed responsibility for the kidnapping of SHC chief justice’s son; two separate teams formed to lead probe.
