Rs260b allocated for Ehsaas programmes: Dr Sania Nishtar

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation Dr Sania Nishtar has said that 260 billion rupees have been allocated for Ehsaas programmes.

During a visit to ‘Ehsaas’ registration centre in Lahore to review the Ehsaas survey registration process, she said that different initiatives of ‘Ehsaas Programme’ which include Ehasas Kafaalat, Ehsaas Nashonuma, Ehsaas scholarships for children and others are linked with this survey. “The survey in Lahore would soon be completed while the survey across the country had been done.”

Dr Sania Nishtar said that the Prime Minister will announce a separate budget for upcoming Ehsaas targeted commodity subsidy programme.
