Rs3.75 increase in power tariff is a proof of IMF slavery: Shehbaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Oppositin Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has said that the Rs3.75 increase in the power tariff is cruelty as well as a proof of the slavery of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

In a statement on Tuesday, he said that the government's cruel steps are wreaking havoc with the poor and economy. He feared that inflation, unemployment and economic destruction could further increase.

"It is slavery of the IMF to increase the prices of electricity, petrol and gas as well as taxes," he added.

Shehbaz Sharif said that the relief of the reduction in the oil prices in the international market had not been shifted to the masses.
