Ruckus in Sindh Assembly after GDA leader calls Zardari as ‘Don’

KARACHI (92 News) – The chaos and ruckus erupted in the session of Sindh Assembly when Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) leader Arif Mustafa Jatoi called Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari Zardari as ‘Don’. As per details, the session was convened to discuss the budget but It was completed marred by chaos and ruckus on Monday. GDA leader criticised Zardari drawing sharp criticism from party leaders. Opposition member Waseem Qureshi of the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) criticised the government of Sindh. “If the Sindh government allocates money for water projects, then it turns to honey. If it allocates for nutrition for starving Thar children, then it transforms into olive oil,” he said. “As long as honey and olive oil bottles are found, Sindh will not prosper,” he said. He said the money allocated in the budget did not belong to the Sindh government but rather the poor and affected people of the province. Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani strongly reprimanded the legislator saying that he should make a speech rather criticising party leaders. “You have no right to speak like that. If you criticise our leader then he have the right to criticise your leader as well,” said the Speaker.
