KARACHI (92 News) – The sindh Assembly session was turned into ruckus when Sindh Minister for Local Government Saeed Ghani used a ‘offensive word’ for the opposition benches. As per details garnered, the ongoing session of provincial assembly was echoed with ‘liars’ slogans while bitter words were also exchanged between Saeed Ghani and Leader of Opposition in Sindh Assembly Firdous Shamim Naqvi. However, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Haleem Adil alleged that the PPP leader abused during the ongoing session. Meanwhile, Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) leader Imtiaz Sheikh said that the opposition disturbed the regular session of assembly with planning. Meanwhile, Grand Democratic Alliance’s Arif Mustafa Jatoi also asked which virus is affecting politicians in the jail. Both the parties are making accuse one-another.
Ruckus in Sindh Assembly after GDA leader calls Zardari as ‘Don’
Earlier, the chaos and ruckus erupted in the session of Sindh Assembly when Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) leader Arif Mustafa Jatoi called Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari Zardari as ‘Don’. The session was convened to discuss the budget but It was completed marred by chaos and ruckus on Monday. GDA leader criticised Zardari drawing sharp criticism from party leaders. Opposition member Waseem Qureshi of the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) criticised the government of Sindh. “If the Sindh government allocates money for water projects, then it turns to honey. If it allocates for nutrition for starving Thar children, then it transforms into olive oil,” he said.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Rumpus has become tradition in the Sindh Assembly because during in previous government marred the assembly session after the MQM and government members exchanged hot words during the speech of Opposition Leader Khawaja Izhar. PPP’s Sharjeel Memon also criticized Khawaja Izhar. The opposition leader asked Sharjeel Memon to keep his voice low. He said that after ghost employees, there are ghost projects and buses in Sindh. “Some people are under the influence of Nusrat Seher phobia.” He said that whether the PPP was running the government or a daycare centre.
