Ruet-e-Hilal Committee to meet in Islamabad today

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet in Islamabad today (Friday) to sight the moon of Ramadan.

Committee Chairman Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman will chair the meeting.

Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees will also hold meetings in different parts of the country to help the Central Committee reach a decision.

On the other hand, Ministry of Religious Affairs is making all possible efforts to observe the holy month of Ramadan on the same day in entire country.

In this connection, a delegation of the government will hold meeting with Mufti Shahabuddin Popalzai in order to ensure the commencement of Ramadan on the same day in country. Both will exchange views to observe holy month of Ramadan on the same day during the meeting.
