Ruet-e-Hilal Committee meets in Lahore today

LAHORE (92 News) – Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is meeting in Lahore on Tuesday (today) for sighting the crescent of Shawal. Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman will chair the meeting. Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees will hold meetings at their respective offices. Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman would announce the decision of crescent sighting after evaluating the evidence. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast that there is a chance for the sighting of Shawwal moon on Tuesday and Eidul Fitr is likely to be celebrated on Wednesday.
