LAHORE (92 News) - PTI chairman Imran Khan has said that the rulers have no intention to hold the elections this year.

Talking to the media via video link on Wednesday, he said that the government is making the Peshawar terrorist attack a justification to escape from the elections.

"The task of the caretaker government is to hold free and transparent elections. There is no provision to take the elections beyond 90 days. But the government wants to hold the elections after the elimination of the PTI," he added.

Imran Khan said that information about Asif Zardari's conspiracy against him are very solid. "It is a sign of the Doomsday that Asif Zardari is filing a defamation suit against me," he added.

He said that the biggest problem in the country is inflation. "About 800,000 professionals have left the country."

The PTI chairman said that the Afghan war was not theirs. "I developed differences with General (retd) Bajwa when talked about giving the rulers an NRO," he maintained.
