ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has said that the N-League has made the poor more poor through the budget. Addressing a press conference in Bani Gala on Saturday, he said that the rulers have tried to benefit the rich in the budget. “No investment is being made in the country and as a result, unemployment is increasing. But the government is hell-bent on favouring the privileged section of the society,” he maintained. The PTI chairman said that the poor becomes more poor and rich becomes more rich whenever the PML-N prepares the budget. He said that the government should reduce the prices of diesel, petrol, electricity and gas besides reducing the Sales Tax rate. “Sales Tax rate should be brought to 12 percent,” he said. Imran Khan said that the government has money for the Metro Bus, but not the poor. He called for introducing reforms in the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) besides making it apolitical. He alleged that the government is purchasing people through the Benazir Income Support Programme.
