ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has termed the running of the House without ministers as wastage of time.

Speaking on the floor of the National Assembly on Wednesday, he said that Bilawal Bhutto had covered the mini-budget, but government benches were empty.

He also accused Planning Minister Asad Umar of using the abusive language in reaction to his yesterday's speech in the National Assembly.

After the speech of Bilawal, the opposition pointed out the lack of quorum. Federal Minister Hammad Azhar could not get a chance to deliver a speech in the House.

Earlier in a statement, Shehbaz Sharif expressed his concern over breaking of 74-year record of the wheat price. "The government daily breaks its record of its incompetence. The per maund wheat price of Rs 2,600 is tantamount to snatching bread from the people," he added.

He said that inflation had already increased to 12.3 percent in December, while there is prediction of 13% increase in January. "The resurfacing of the wheat crisis are signs of criminal negligence, incompetence and corruption," he maintained.
