Sindh Assembly passes resolutions against MQM founder

KARACHI (92 News) – A resolution moved jointly by all the political parties against the Muttahida Qaumi Movement founder has been passed in the Sindh Assembly on Wednesday. The resolution was moved by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM). Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani chaired the session in which PPP’s Khair-un-Nisa, MQM’s Sardar Ahmad, PTI’s Khurram Sher Zaman, PML-N’s Soorath Theibu and PML-F’s Nusrat Abbasi moved the resolution against the MQM’s founder. The resolution stated that the MQM founder had chanted slogans against Pakistan in during his speech on August 22 and stimulate people against Pakistan, therefore strict action should be taken against him. The resolution asked the Federal Government to take action against the MQM founder leader and all those persons who are involved in anti-state activities under Article-6 of the constitution.
