Saad advises govt not to take Opp alliance as a threat

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique on Thursday advised the government that the opposition alliance was not done first time so not to take this alliance as a threat. Speaking on the floor of the National Assembly (NA), Saad thanked the NA speaker and the House for giving him opportunity to represent the masses. The PML-N leader expressed anger on the expulsion of former premier and said that the opposition does not want to expel Prime Minister Imran Khan same like as former premiers Yousaf Raza Gillani and Nawaz Sharif. “We do not accept your mandate but didn’t think for a single time to overthrow the government,” Khawaja Saad said. He added that the opposition sitting here is mature and experience. “We have learnt from our experiences. We want to give you time so that you can fulfill at least 10 per cent of your promises,” the PML-N stalwart mentioned. Saad said that the opposition alliance was not happened in the first time so the government should not take alliance as a threat. “We don’t want that the system will be damaged in the view of toppling PTI-led government,” he added. “From prime minister to branded ministers, everyone is verbally abusing the opposition. It has been over five months with no performance,” the former railways minister said. Saad also denied from the words used against Asif Zardari regarding dragging him on roads, were wrong. He also claimed that he has told the NAB to file a reference against him as soon as possible. “I am thankful to the quarters who directed the arrest of me and my brothers. I have told NAB that it’s very important now to face the reference because my reputation is on at stake,” the PML-N leader said. A day earlier, the National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser released the production orders of Khawaja Saad Rafique for attending the NA session.
