Saeed Ghani accuses Shikarpur SSP of patronizing criminals

SHIKARPUR (92 News) – Sindh Information Minister Saeed Ghani has accused Shikarpur SSP Dr Rizwan of patronizing criminals. Addressing a press conference on Friday, he expressed his indignation at the report of Dr Rizwan and termed him ‘Chahora’ (a mean person). He said that a letter was written to the Sindh IGP for patronizing criminals, but no received no reply. “I will quit politics and resigns from all posts if I or my brother found involved in crimes,” he challenged. The minister said that report against Imtiaz Sheikh was prepared on January 16, not January 14. “Extrajudicial killing of Faisal Lodhi was committed for joining the PPP,” he said. He appealed to the Sindh chief minister to launch an inquiry into the allegations leveled against him. Saeed Ghani said that the attitude of the Sindh police had also become like the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). “A report is prepared against anyone speaking against the SSP,” he added. He alleged that dug peddling had increased in his area Chanser Goth after the posting of Dr Rizwan. “The report of this officer is third class like him,” he added. In a report, the Shikarpur SSP had blamed Saeed Ghani and his brother Farhan Ghani for having links with professional criminals. “Farhan Ghani and Hassan alias Natha have a strong network in Channesar Goth. Hassan Natha and Fida Jogi had confirmed their links with Farhan Ghani during investigation,” the report said. The report declared Saeed Ghani and his brother Farhan Ghani facilitators of drug peddlers.
