Saeed Ghani says inflation is result of govt's mismanagement, incompetence

KARACHI (92 News) – PPP leader Saeed Ghani has said termed the federal government 'incompetent', saying that the inflation in the country is due to its mismanagement.

Talking to the media on Saturday, he said that that the government spokespersons do not work and present illogical arguments about the inflation.

“Yesterday farmers protested against the fertilizers crisis under instructions from PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto. Farmers are suffering in different areas of the country due to Urea crisis. If Urea is available at some place, then its prices are too high,” he added.

Saeed Ghani said that on January 24, farmers will again stage a protest demonstration. “Gas, electricity and inflation are basic problems of the masses. Prices of petrol, pulses, sugar and medicines are sky-high. The government spokespersons first deny the inflation. If they admit to the inflation, then they say that there is inflation all over the world. It is a very illogical argument. The inflation in Pakistan is due to incompetence and mismanagement of the government,” he maintained.

The minister said that the federal government is incompetent in each sector. “There is no option of bringing the presidential system. The 1973 constitution of Pakistan is the biggest power to unite the country. An amendment to the constitution will affect the country. The presidential system is just a rumor, which will die out soon,” he concluded.
