Sameera imprisoned in India verified as Pakistani national: Sheikh Rasheed

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Interior Ministry has verified Sameera, a Pakistani woman imprisoned in India, as Pakistani national.

Talking to 92 News, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed said that the letter has been sent to the Foreign Ministry. "The citizenship letter has been issued to Sameera after confirmation of his family through her family," he disclosed.

He said that the woman will travel to Pakistan after issuance of passport by Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi. "Her four-year-old daughter will also return to Pakistan along with her," he added.
