SAPM Sania Nishtar decides to establish in-house project management unit

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Dr Sania Nishtar has decided to establish an in-house project management unit after refusal of the Finance Ministry to assume the responsibility of the Ehsaas Targeted Subsidy Program.

Dr Sania said that in specific grocery stores, a subsidy will be given to the families who earn monthly income less than Rs30,000. “The federal government from 1st January to 30 June will give a relief to poor masses of Rs106 billion.

The Finance Ministry will issue only Rs30 billion from the budget of Benazir Income Support. Keeping in view of shopkeepers financial conditions, services and withholding tax will be exempted.”
