IHC seeks assistance from Attorney General for probe into alleged Saqib Nisar's audio tape

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has sought assistance from the Attorney General (AG) regarding a probe into the alleged audio tape of former chief justice Saqib Nisar.

The IHC was hearing a petition filed by former chief justice Saqib Nisar seeking formation of a commission to probe the alleged audiotape.

Chief Justice Athar Minallah remarked that the court only has to look at the facts according to the law; the court will not go into the judicial activism". Tomorrow someone will bring a clip and ask us to investigate. Everyday something on social media goes on. How many matters will be investigated?" he questioned. 

The court adjourned the hearing till December 8.
