Sarfaraz Merchant’s non-bailable arrest warrants issued

KARACHI (92 News) – A local court has on Thursday issued non-bailable arrest warrants of Sarfaraz Merchant in the money laundering case of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain. The Judicial Magistrate South heard a money laundering case against renowned trader Sarfaraz Merchant and MQM chief Altaf Hussain, in which SSP South told the court that the accused was first hiding but now he lives London that is why his arrest is impossible. The court ordered the SSP South to present property details of Sarfaraz Merchant and ordered to block his National Identity Card (CNIC). The court further ordered to present him in the court on May 16.
